SNATCH
Widely hailed as the most explosive movement in sport... and once you watch it, you'll understand why.
In under a second, an athlete pulls a loaded barbell from the floor to full lockout overhead in one unbroken motion, dropping into a squat to catch it before rising back to standing. It's raw power, split-second timing, and total-body coordination compressed into a single heartbeat.
There's nothing else in athletics quite like it.
Want to see what your body's actually capable of? These two lifts are where strength meets artistry, and there's no better time to start learning them than now.
CLEAN & Jerk
If the snatch is a lightning strike, the clean and jerk is a story told in two acts.
First, the clean: hauling the bar from the floor to the shoulders with explosive intent. Then, after a breath, the jerk. Driving the weight overhead with a burst of leg power and a lightning-quick foot reset to lock it out.
It's the perfect balance of power and agility, a lift that rewards both brute strength and the finesse to control it.
